His Grace Savyasachi Das hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and comes from a traditional North Indian family. He first came into contact with the teachings of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1996 while pursuing his MBBS at Madurai Medical College, Tamil Nadu. Deeply inspired by the philosophy and mission of ISKCON, he chose to dedicate his life to do spiritual services and joined ISKCON as a full-time brahmachari in 1999.
Savyasachi Das is a disciple of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami and also a shiksha disciple of His Holiness Bhakti Vikasa Swami, both senior and respected spiritual leaders in ISKCON.

From 1999 to 2006, he served at the ISKCON center in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, where he played an active role in youth preaching, college outreach, and temple management. His dynamic leadership inspired several young students from Gujarat to join ISKCON as full-time brahmacharis, many of whom continue to serve Srila Prabhupada's mission sincerely to this day. He is known for presenting modern science from the perspective of the Bhagavad Gita.
Since 2006, he has been actively engaged in establishing the Varnasrama mission, a vital part of Srila Prabhupada's vision for a balanced, spiritually grounded society. He has played a key role in initiating and nurturing self-sufficient farm communities across India, aiming to revive traditional Vedic culture and sustainable living.

Currently, Savyasachi Das is based at ISKCON Bhopal, from where he continues to travel and preaching in various parts of India and Europe.
